If at First You Don't Succeed...

On Friday, November 8th of 2013, I began the blog "Two Sides to a Sword". Now, a year and a half later, I'm blogging again with a different website. Why?
When I first started "Two Sides to a Sword", I had these grand plans to attract people from different religions to the blog to debate. But as I wrote about apologetics, I realized how limited that was. I also realized that I didn't really care to attract argumentative people to my blog to argue. I had to go in a different direction.
So I started talking about life and my thoughts and how my faith fit into everything. It was a blast! I eventually learned that other people were reading my blog. Up until that point I was writing for my own personal enjoyment. What really surprised me was that these people actually liked what I wrote.
Can you imagine that? I couldn't.
I kept writing and writing... until my senior year of high school started. Then work, basketball (which has now turned into baseball), school, church, and college-prepping activities completely swamped me and I had to stop writing. December 9th was my last post using "Two Sides to a Sword".
I missed blogging very badly. I had to start again. This is the result.
Here's my second stab at writing a blog. Will I burn out again? I don't know. What I do know is that I have a lot of thoughts I want to share with whoever cares to read them. I do know there is a great God out there who needs to be talked about and praised. I do know there is an amazing life out there for us to live.
Let's get started.
